One of the most common problems encountered in any Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) enforcement programme is the ability to obtain accurate, up to date market intelligence. MarketWatch® is the physical monitoring and investigation of any premises or venues where examples of brand and IPR infringements, counterfeits or parallel goods maybe available. This could be a car-boot sale or market stall, a retailer or wholesaler, or a trade fair.
MarketWatch® constantly monitors all likely sites within agreed locations, as well as targeting individuals, companies, premises and markets where suspected infringements have been reported. We submit monthly reports on the outlets and venues where infringements have been identified, as well as providing recommendations for following up the infringements detected, in order to identify the supply chain and manufacturing source.
As a result, depending on the nature of the infringement and the strategy of the client, with our evidence, the client can either opt for an immediate legal response or implement further targeted investigations.
