At Carratu International we believe that one of a company’s most under valued possessions is its client database and related information. Although the theft of client databases is now widespread - for instance by employees wishing to start their own competing businesses - it is still just one of a number of emerging threats with which today’s businesses are increasingly forced to contend making corporate security a priority. The damage caused by such acts can be significant: not only in financial terms, but also as damage to a company’s goodwill and reputation.

In response to this, we have developed our ‘Information Protection team’, which has a number of simple objectives: Our primary aim is to prevent all forms of data theft, and where data has been copied, to recover both the original and any copies. In addition, we work to stop the perpetrators from using the stolen information for their own profit, to obtain compensation from them where appropriate, and ultimately to send a message that industrial espionage will not be tolerated.
