Where environmental investigation is required, Carratu International Plc is able to transfer its experience in more traditional techniques of evidence gathering either to assist in the prosecution of third parties, or to provide due diligence in relation to potential site purchases. Instructions typically relate to three main areas:
Waste disposal verification; We use proven surveillance and covert filming techniques to monitor and verify both internal and external contractors’ disposal procedures, or to investigate those individuals responsible for illegal dumping.
Environmental incident investigations; We use proven investigative and interviewing techniques to establish the chain of events leading up to an incident, its cause and those ultimately responsible.
Site history profile investigation; We use a combination of background research sources and investigative techniques to an incident, establish prior ownership and historical land use.
